Proceeds from this event are used to cover attendance costs for first responders at Operation Restore at the Franciscan Center in Tampa. The Metro Brigade Mobile Outreach team seeks to meet you “where you are,” help address your immediate needs, and link you to the resources that can end your homelessness. The mobile team serves at more than 20 locations throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties.

Outreach services were assembled as a resource database with over 100 helping agencies and faith-based organizations. The team also developed an “app” to identify and map high-volume areas for future outreach activities. Mission. SEEDFOLKids After School Garden Experience is a year-long free community- based after school leadership program where both literal and figurative sustainable “school gardens” are created by the students to transform the school culture.

“What we do is we go into schools that are not performing well, they could be a C, D, or F school, and we create gardens that last, we stay there for the entire year,” said founder Jeanette Bradley, who has implemented the program at three different schools this year. “We think it’s important that kids really understand where food comes from and that they have the power within themselves to create their own destinies, if you will, ‘I can create my own food.’”  Click Here for more information.
