The Franciscan Center’s All things Wise and Wonderful Inspirational Speaker Series continues with SpiritFM host Elle Spada’s These Next Forty Days. On Sunday, Feb. 23, 5 – 6:30 p.m., Elle will discuss her book and reveal the insights that led her to write it.

The All Things Wise and Wonderful features talks by successful Tampa Bay area professionals who have authored books for personal growth and professional development. In a lecture style venue, they share information about their books, careers and life experiences during hour and one-half sessions throughout the year.

Elle Spada hosts the award-winning Kid’s Kingdom, the Overnights and Sunday Praise for SpiritFM WBVM Tampa. These Next Forty Days promotes the benefits of taking short pauses throughout the day to pray and reflect.

Inspired by a desire to disconnect from the tech-driven world, She decided to keep a hand- written journal of her personal reflections over a 40-day period. The book is a collection of these with space for readers to record their own.

Franciscan Center CEO Wendy Leigh finds Elle’s idea to be very inspiring, “With so much technology coming at us daily, keeping a simple journal of reflective thoughts can go a long way in relieving stress and promoting a peaceful outlook.”
