When we ask people which topics they want us to address in these mini-retreats, the answer is always forgiveness. Forgiveness is an essential practice for anyone. This evening we will look at the practice of forgiveness, with a focus on forgiving during these extraordinary times. We’ll also explore how our conscious contact with God can enrich forgiveness of ourselves and others, and how that conscious contact enables us to forgive.

This mini-retreat is for anyone interested in 12-Step Spirituality. 

The cost is $15 or pay what you can afford. All proceeds go to support the work of the Franciscan Center. (no refunds)

Sister Cathy Cahill, OSF, a Franciscan Sister of Allegany, has been leading retreats at the Franciscan Center since 1985, for persons in 12 Step programs. In addition to her retreat work at the center, Sister Cathy travels widely as a guest presenter at retreat houses across the U.S. Her background in education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in education from St. Bonaventure University, and a master’s degree in education from Rhode Island College. She trained as a substance abuse counselor at Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago.
