All are welcome at the Franciscan Center’s annual “Blessing of the Creche” on Friday, December 1st at 6:00 pm on the Center grounds at 3010 North Perry Avenue, Tampa.

This blessing is a yearly tradition at the Franciscan Center, and holds deep roots within the Franciscan order. Guests are invited to bring a figurine from their own Nativity scenes to be blessed. Christmas caroling, baked goods, and refreshments will be provided by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany.

Baby and early childcare donations benefiting Mary’s Shower, who provide baby showers for local families in need, will be collected prior to the blessing. For more information, contact Lily Houghson via email or 813-229-2695.
